Murder, most foul. 

Tonight was the Lichtenzshanian ambassador's annual ball. Everyone who matters was there, a smorgasbord of dignitaries from all across the realm. They wined, dined, took part in the traditional party games, and generally had a great time. 

Until The Fox struck. 

The worlds greatest assassin, master of disguise, debonair of deceit, paragon of perfidiousness, sultan of stabs. The Fox has cut a bloody trail throughout all of Luftan, and seeks to destabilize the world for their own nefarious purposes. Tonight, their blade found the ambassador. They must be stopped, and their crimes must be accounted for.

The guards have sealed the building, trapping The Fox, and everyone else, inside. They have called for you, the greatest detective in the world, to figure out what has happened here. Interrogate the guests. Investigate the scene. Uncover the truth, and save Lichtenzshana, and the world, from devastation.

Murder, most foul is a deduction and investigation TTRPG where you and your friends collectively come up with a fun murder mystery to solve, and roleplay as one of five detective archetypes. It uses a well known children's identity guessing game as its mechanical tool of choice, and largely consists of a number of system agnostic tools one could use to write a murder in any game of their choosing.
